AhlulBayt News Agency: At least 24 Palestinians, including eight children and one paramedic, were martyred and many others injured on Wednesday in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, as ceasefire violations continued for the 116th consecutive day.
According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter, Israeli shelling this morning struck tents sheltering displaced families in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, killing two young girls and a paramedic, and injuring 12 others.
The Red Crescent confirmed that paramedic Hussein as-Samiri was killed in Khan Yunis while carrying out his humanitarian duties.
Israeli tanks also targeted the al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, striking a building belonging to the Haboush family and killing four people, including two children.
Seven additional Palestinians were killed in continued Israeli strikes on the same neighborhood in Gaza City.
Local sources reported that three civilians, including a woman and an infant, were killed in an Israeli attack on the al-Zeitoun neighborhood in eastern Gaza.
Three more people, including a child, were killed in Israeli artillery shelling that hit tents and homes in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area, south of Khan Yunis.
Later in the afternoon, a medical source said one person was killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of civilians in the northern ash-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.
A citizen and a young girl were also martyred, and several others wounded, in an Israeli strike on a tent in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
In northwest Rafah, a female employee at the Doctors Without Borders hospital was injured by random Israeli gunfire while working inside the hospital pharmacy.
Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire today in the eastern, central, and southern areas of Khan Yunis.
Israeli gunboats also fired machineguns toward the coastline of Khan Yunis.
On Tuesday, a child from the Abu Hadayed family died from wounds sustained earlier in Israeli fire in Khan Yunis, while a woman was killed by Israeli drone gunfire near al-Shawa Square in Gaza City’s al-Tuffah neighborhood.
